With the severe uptick in Covid cases in the Chicago area, for our NYE Dance we are instituting a contact tracing model.
All attendees must provide an email address in order to enter the event. Email addresses have already been collected for those who pre-purchased a pass.
Starting on the evening of January 1st, Windy City Fusion will send out an anonymous form attendees may use to report symptoms and/or positive Covid tests, either rapid antigen or PCR. To ensure you receive that email, please add windycityfusiondance@gmail.com to your contacts.
If no reports are made, WCF will send out the form again on January 3rd, 5th, and 7th.
If a report of a possible or actual case is made, WCF will email all attendees with that information. These emails will come as a daily summary of cases, not individual emails for each case. Information will be anonymous unless the individual reporting their case chooses otherwise. The anonymous form will be linked at the bottom of each of these summary emails.
Infections that are identified on January 10th or later have increasingly little likelihood of having been present at or originated at New Year’s Eve, and will not be reported out to other attendees.
In addition, WCF and Dance Center Chicago are moving into compliance with the City of Chicago’s new Covid Restrictions. Our events are now vaccinated only as well as masked. We encourage all attendees to get a covid test prior to the event, and to stay home if they are ill.
